The World Indonesian Scholarship Festival (WISH) is organized by Mata Garuda Riau, Mata Garuda LPDP Pusat, Indonesian Scholarship Network (ISN) and Sahabat Beasiswa. The event aims to educate the scholarship seekers to study abroad in various ways and routes that have been provided by the government and the private sector. The WISH event itself is held in several major cities, like previously held in Riau, the event spread throughout Indonesia. One of the cities were visited was Semarang City, in Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES)
The event opened by Head of WISH, Akbar Nikmatullah D and Head of WISH Central Java, Nur Dina Amalia. Continued speech by Rector of Universitas Negeri Semarang, Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman, M.Hum. and Keynote from H. Ganjar Pranowo, S.H., M.IP. as governor of Central Java.


Taiwan Education Center is one of participant in WISH 2019 side by side with many Universities from around the world, such as French University, Australia University, Leiden University and other universities.

Their enthusiasm was high, seen when the participants visited the Taiwan Education Center (TEC) stand by asking questions to proof that the participant showed their seriousness about taking scholarships to Taiwan.
