Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia Yogyakarta Regional Office has successfully held its second Webinar with Taiwan university, National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), entitled “International Program and Scholarship in National Tsing Hua University” via Google Meet on Tuesday (12/7/2022).

National Tsing Hua University or NTHU is one of the six national research universities in Taiwan and it is consistently ranked among the top three best universities in Taiwan in world university rankings. In the 2022 QS World University Rankings, it is ranked within the top 200 universities in the world and the top 50 universities in Asia.

In this agenda, Prof. Yi-Wen Liu, Ms. Chani Liu, Prof. Hsiang-Yu Wang, and Prof. Shang-Hua Yang became the representatives from NTHU to deliver the presentation regarding the international programs and scholarship, Global Summer School, and Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) 2022 in NTHU. Moreover, there was also an Indonesian student, Alvin Suhadinata, who shared about his experience during his study in NTHU.

This Webinar was held to give the participants an introduction and insight about studying in Taiwan especially in NTHU. Prof. Liu opened the agenda by introducing all the speakers and delivered a brief explanation regarding Global Summer School. After that, each speaker presented the topic and experience sharing to the participants.

The participants of this Webinar varied from high school students, university students to lecturers from all over Indonesia. This agenda was full of excitement and the participants were very active in taking notes of the presentation and asking many questions to the speakers.
