Introducing and spreading information about study in Taiwan, the team of Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia – Yogyakarta visited Universitas Respati Yogyakarta on Thursday (2/22). UNRIYO is located in Yogyakarta, divided into two main campuses and there are several educational level options to choose from Universitas Respati Yogyakarta, namely 7 health fields, 4 technology fields, 4 social and economic fields.

On this occasion, TEC Yogyakarta was welcomed by Dwi Astuti, S.Si., M.M. as the Head of the Development and Cooperation of UNRIYO along with the lecturers of several study programs. 

During this agenda, a seminar entitled “Study Abroad Seminar: Planning Your Academic Journey in Taiwan” was brought as the theme and being delivered to the participants consisted of students and lecturers, who had joined in the room. The information which was provided was not merely about the scholarships offered by the Taiwan government and Taiwan universities, but also about the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP), a program which allows the students as well as the lecturers to gain research experience and internship in Taiwan. 

As Bima, the manager of TEC Yogyakarta explained in detail about these programs, the students and lecturers were very attentive to learn the information regarding study in Taiwan. A few questions were delivered by the participants. Most of them asked about scholarship information and TEEP, such as the requirements, the steps of application and others. Hopefully, this agenda could enlighten the students and lecturers regarding studying in Taiwan and obtaining a scholarship or internship there.
