Getting closer to the end of 2022, Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia – Yogyakarta held another offline seminar on Tuesday (27/12/2022) in front of the students and lecturers of Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta (UCY) entitled “Study in Taiwan and Obtain Scholarship”. This seminar was aimed to introduce as well as provide information regarding Study in Taiwan and all the scholarships offered by the Taiwan’s Ministry of Education and the universities in Taiwan. Currently, UCY itself has five faculties consisting of Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Teacher Training & Education.

On this occasion, TEC Yogyakarta was welcomed by the Vice Rector I, Paryanto, S.Ag., MIP., Vice Rector III, Farid Iskandar, S.H., S.H.I, M.H., and Erna Setyawati as staff of the General Administration Section and the Rectorate of UCY. The information which was delivered by TEC was not merely about scholarships, but also about the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP), a program which allows the students as well as the lecturers to gain research experience and internship in Taiwan. This program was gaining a lot of attention, especially by the lecturers of UCY. 

Moreover, the participants were impressed and interested to have a deeper explanation on how to apply for the scholarships. After the seminar session, many of them threw a question regarding MOE Taiwan Scholarship, HES Scholarship as well as the TEEP.  The agenda was closed by taking group photos of TEC with all of the participants.
