Studying in Taiwan has become a dream for some people. Not only because Taiwan has a very good quality of education but there are many other reasons why people would love to visit or even stay in Taiwan. Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia – Yogyakarta provided the information about Taiwan, its education system and study plan programs with regard to fulfilling the curiosity of those who would like to go to Taiwan for studying or taking an internship program. A seminar entitled “Study, Scholarship and Internship in Taiwan for 2023” was held virtually by TEC Yogyakarta in collaboration with Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang on Monday (2/28/2023).  

The Director of Development, Education and Profession (LP3), Dr. Asep Suhendar, M.Pd, delivered an opening remark before the seminar started. Bima Aoron, as the speaker of TEC Yogyakarta, provided a presentation regarding the topic and before that he also introduced TEC to the participants.  All of the scholarships offered by the Taiwan government to students in Indonesia; Ministry of Education (MoE) Taiwan Scholarship 2023 and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) 2023; were mentioned and explained in detail. 

Meanwhile, for those who would like to go to Taiwan to do research and internship are eligible to take the program named Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP).

The participants consisted of students and lecturers actively participating in the Q&A session. Before closing the whole agenda, TEC Yogyakarta promoted one of the upcoming education fairs, Taiwan Higher Education Fair (THEF) 2023 which will be held soon in Surabaya, Yogyakarta and Jakarta.
