TEC Yogyakarta (UMY) has successfully held its an offline seminar “Study in Taiwan & Obtain Scholarship” with Boarding School SMA Negeri 11 Pinrang, South Sulawesi. The goal of this agenda is to spread the information and insight regarding study in Taiwan to the students of SMA Negeri 11 Pinrang, South Sulawesi. The agenda was held on Friday, May 13th 2022 at the hall of SMA Negeri 11 Pinrang, South Sulawesi. The agenda was opened by the Vice Principal of SMA Negeri 11 Pinrang, Mr. Syaifuddin, S.H., S.Pd., M.Pd. continued with the presentation by the speaker of TEC Yogyakarta (UMY), Mohammad Bima Aoron Hafiz.
Bima explained comprehensively about all the details information regarding Taiwan and how to continue to study there for those who are interested in studying abroad and also seeking for a scholarship. The seminar went great and the students were very excited in joining this agenda. Not only asking regarding the education system, most of the students were also interested in Taiwanese culture, language and social environment. They were asking about the scholarship opportunities and the tips and suggestions to obtain it.
This seminar about study in Taiwan was quite new to the students. Their excitement and curiosity encouraged them to ask many questions to the speaker. In total, there were 150 participants who joined this seminar. Hopefully, this agenda is useful and could give them a better insight regarding studying abroad especially in Taiwan.
