On Tuesday (11/28), Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Yogyakarta landed at SMA Negeri 2 Bantul to share the information of study in Taiwan to the students and teachers. On this occasion, TEC Yogyakarta was given an opportunity to present a presentation regarding study in Taiwan including the scholarships and programs as provided by the Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MOE) and the programs held by TEC Yogyakarta. This agenda aimed to give information and insights of studying abroad and to prepare for their next study and internship plan abroad. 

The seminar was started by an official video of Study in Taiwan by Taiwan’s MOE. Then, the sharing session was continued by providing slides of presentation containing the latest information of Taiwan’s MOE Scholarships and Taiwan Experience and Education Program (TEEP). In this session, Bima, the manager of TEC Yogyakarta, explained in details about the full degree and non-degree scholarships as provided by the MOE of Taiwan and the universities in Taiwan. 

Moreover, in the Q&A session, some of the participants asked regarding the requirements and the fees for the programs explained. The students also asked about how to reach TEC since they said that the information provided was very beneficial for them to dig more information about studying abroad, especially those who are interested in going to Taiwan for an academic experience.
