Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Yogyakarta was invited by the Faculty of Law at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) to provide the information of study in Taiwan to the participants in the event called “Law Student Mobility” on Sunday (10/8/2023) at the KH. Ibrahim Building E7, UMY. On this occasion, TEC Yogyakarta was given an opportunity to present a presentation regarding study in Taiwan including the scholarships and programs as provided by the Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MOE) and the programs held by TEC Yogyakarta. The participants who joined the agenda are new enrolled students of the Faculty of Law, UMY. This agenda aimed to give information and insights of studying abroad and to prepare for their next study and internship plan abroad.

Bima as the Manager of TEC Yogyakarta gained the attention of the participants as he was showing an official video of Study in Taiwan by Taiwan’s MOE. Then, the sharing session was continued by providing slides of presentation containing the latest information of Taiwan’s MOE Scholarships and Taiwan Experience and Education Program (TEEP). In this session, Bima explained comprehensively regarding the scholarships as provided by the MOE of Taiwan and the universities in Taiwan.

Bima also provided in depth an explanation about TEEP which caught the attention of most of the participants since half of them are interested in conducting an internship or research experience abroad. Moreover, in the Q&A session, some of the participants asked regarding the requirements and the fees for the programs explained. Not only asking regarding the programs, but they also asked regarding how to reach TEC since they said that the information provided was very helpful for them to dig more information about studying abroad, especially those who are interested in going to Taiwan for an academic experience.
