On Thursday (11/23), the team of Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia – Yogyakarta landed at Universitas Alma Ata Yogyakarta (UAA) to provide an in-depth education seminar to the participants consisted of students, lecturers and faculty members regarding Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MoE) programs such as MoE Taiwan Scholarships 2024, Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES), and the internship program or Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP).

In this opportunity, TEC Yogyakarta directly met the Rector, Prof. dr. Hamam Hadi, MS., Sc.D., who also delivered opening remarks along with the deans,  lecturers and faculty members of UAA.

During this agenda, there were two sessions of presentation, the first session was delivered by TEC regarding Study in Taiwan, scholarships, internship and research collaboration meanwhile the second session was experience-sharing during study in Taiwan by Mr. Sofyan Indrayana, S.Kep., Ns., MNS., who is a lecturer of the nursing department in UAA. He is an alumni of National Cheng Kung University. Since there were many participants who were really fond of getting a scholarship in Taiwan, they were very attentive and focused on both of the sessions.

As Bima, the manager of TEC Yogyakarta, and Mr. Sofyan  explained in detail about the MOE programs and study experience in Taiwan, the students and lecturers were very attentive to gain more info regarding study in Taiwan. A few questions were delivered by the participants. Most of them asked about scholarship information and TEEP, such as the requirements, the steps of application and others and they also asked regarding the dos and don’ts and cultural differences while living in Taiwan.
