On March 3, Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia – Yogyakarta arranged an online seminar with Universitas Muhammadiyah Sinjai (UMSi) to provide up-to-date information about study in Taiwan. Muhammad Lutfi, S.IP., M.A, as the Vice Rector I of UMSi delivered the opening remark. This seminar not only focuses on study and scholarships, but also on internships and research for lecturers. 

Since the 2023 Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MoE) Scholarship is already open from February 1, TEC was explaining in detail regarding the program and how to apply to be an awardee of this prestigious scholarship. Not only the students, but also the lecturers were very interested to know deeply regarding this scholarship. 

Moreover, the internship program or Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) was also mentioned and explained by the speaker. The Vice Rector of UMSi also discussed the possibility of building a connection with Taiwan universities in the future. Hopefully, this agenda could enlighten the students and lecturers regarding studying in Taiwan and obtaining either a scholarship or internship program there.
