TEC-UMY Roadshow at Pontianak: “Taiwan” Arrived at STIK Muhammadiyah Pontianak

As one of the universities that were given trust by TETO as the place to establish the Taiwan Education Center in Yogyakarta, Taiwan Education Center Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (TEC-UMY) have to provide any information for student who interested study in Taiwan. Finally, TEC-UMY team arrived at Borneo Island, especially in Pontianak City, TEC-UMY visited 2 Institutions and 1 Vocational School, from 14-17 October 2019.
 
Starting from visiting STIK Muhammadiyah Pontianak, On Friday (15/11/2019), Taiwan Education Center Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (TEC-UMY), represented by Andi Rizal Ramadhan and Zulfiani Ayu Astutik, introduced the Taiwan Education System in front of 300 students and lecturers from STIK Muhammadiyah Pontianak. The program was started by welcoming speech from representative of STIK Muhammadiyah Pontianak who stated that the University is very pleased with TEC-UMY arrival to deliver any information about Taiwan Scholarship.
Rizal explained that Taiwan has many universities, both public and private. Tuition is less expensive in public universities than in private universities, like in most western countries. Many public universities receive financial support from the government.
The feedback given by the participants was very good, it can be seen from many questions which delivered by several lecturers and Students who are interested in continuing their studies in Taiwan.
