As one of the universities that were given trust by TETO as the place to establish the Taiwan Education Center in Yogyakarta, Taiwan Education Center Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (TEC-UMY) have to provide any information for student who interested study in Taiwan.
On Friday (20/09/2019), Taiwan Education Center Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (TEC-UMY), represented by Zulfiani Ayu Astutik, introduced the Taiwan Education System in front of 60 students and lecturers from Universitas Tidar Magelang. The program was started by welcoming speech from representative of Universitas Tidar Magelang who stated that the University is very pleased with TEC-UMY arrival to deliver any information about Taiwan scholarship.
In her presentation, Zulfi said that:“ The government of Taiwan places great emphasis on quality in higher education. Several innovative programs promote Taiwan’s international academic competitiveness. In addition, Taiwan’s strong technology sector guarantees high quality education in these fields and attracts students from developing countries to study some technology majors.”

The students and lecturers’ feedback for presentation was also high, it can be seen from the questions arose. They concerned were the programs that available in the scholarship for Master and Ph.D.
