TEC Indonesia-Yogyakarta Collaborated with National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT) in Providing the Information of International Program and Scholarship for International Students

Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia Yogyakarta Regional Office has successfully held another Webinar with Taiwan university, National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT) entitled “International Program and Scholarship in National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT)” virtually on Monday (2/26). Located in Kaohsiung City, NKUHT was established in 1995 and served as the #1 public university specializing in hospitality, tourism, and culinary arts. NKUHT is ranked 38th in the world and 5th in Asia based on QS Subject Rankings 2023. 

In this agenda, the Director of the International Affairs Office, Dr. Hsiao-I Hou accompanied by the NKUHT alumni, Christina Halim and the three active students of NKUHT; Christine, Alicia and Clarence, became the representatives from NKUHT to deliver the presentation regarding the international programs and scholarship 2024/2025 and the experience of studying in NKUHT. 

Moreover, the international programs explained by Dr. Hsiao-I Hou were varied from The International Master’s Program of Tourism and Hospitality (ICDF Scholarship Partner, March 15th), International Bachelor Program in Tourism Management, International Bachelor’s Program of Culinary Arts Graduate Institute of Hospitality Management (InterContinental Hotel Exclusive Scholarships), Department of Hotel Management (Bilingual program), Department of Leisure and Recreation Management (Bilingual program) and many others. These programs are available to be applied by the international students.

This webinar was held to give the participants an introduction and insight about studying in Taiwan, especially in NKUHT. The participants of this Webinar varied from high school students, university students to lecturers from all over Indonesia. This agenda was full of excitement and the participants were very active in taking notes of the presentation and asking many questions to the speakers.
