Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia Yogyakarta Regional Office held a virtual sharing session entitled “Navigating Success with TOCFL” on Wednesday (7/10). TEC invited Ms. Shumei Lin as the promotion specialist from the Steering Committee for the Test of Proficiency-Huayu (SC-TOP) Taiwan, and Mr. Jin-Wei Hung a lecturer from the Mandarin Learning Center of Chung Yuan Christian University, to explain the details of TOCFL Test starting from the overview of TOCFL levels and the tips to do every part of the test.

This agenda was held to give the participants insight into learning Chinese and preparing for the TOCFL test. Ms. Lin explained in detail the TOCFL test’s levels, part by part, and she also gave some preparation tips for the participants and shared the resources that can be used for practice. The session was then continued with Mr. Hung from MLC CYCU who explained about TOCFL components of listening, reading, writing, and speaking comprehension.

Following the presentation session, the speakers then discussed with the moderator and participants afterward. The participants delivered a few questions related to the topic. The sharing session was open to the public, and the participants varied from high school students, and university students to lecturers from various cities and institutions. This was a content agenda, and the participants actively took notes of the presentation.
