Starting its Roadshow Seminar in Padang, Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Yogyakarta visited Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat (UMSB) on December 18, 2024, to provide valuable insights into studying in Taiwan and assist participants in exploring their higher education options at Taiwanese universities.

TEC Yogyakarta’s visit to UMSB was warmly welcomed by Vice Rector III, Dr. Ahmad Lahmi, MA, along with the Head of LPIM UM Sumatera Barat, Dr. Mursal, M.Ag, and the Head of the International Affairs Cooperation Agency (LKUI), Khairiyah, S.IP, M.H.I. The event was also attended by Desna Fauziah, M.Pd, a member of the Division of Foreign Cooperation, as well as faculty and staff from UMSB, Postgraduate students, and other relevant stakeholders.

During the event, Bima Aoron as the manager of TEC Yogyakarta, presented its activities and objectives to an audience comprising UMSB lecturers and prospective students. The seminar, titled “Seminar Study Abroad Session: Scholarship and Internship in Taiwan 2025,” provided detailed information about scholarship and internship opportunities in Taiwan, highlighting the benefits and various programs available for students in the upcoming year.

The seminar aimed to equip prospective students with the necessary knowledge to pursue academic journeys in Taiwan, and it is hoped that the event will help many students in realizing their educational goals.
