On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) officially opened the UMY Career Fair (UCF) 2025 at the Ground Floor of KH. Ahmad Dahlan Mosque, UMY Campus. This year’s event, themed “Digital, Global, Future-Ready,” reaffirmed UMY’s commitment to connecting students and alumni with career opportunities aligned with the evolving demands of the global workforce.

The event featured an Education Fair, with several international education institutions participating, including Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia. As one of the participating organizations, Taiwan Education Center Indonesia – Yogyakarta Office was honored to be part of this important initiative. Our booth received enthusiastic attention from both students and alumni eager to explore study opportunities in Taiwan, especially those interested in scholarship programs and Mandarin language learning directly in Taiwan.

Bima Aoron, Manager of Taiwan Education Center Yogyakarta, was invited as one of the seminar speakers. During his session, Bima shared valuable insights about Taiwan’s higher education system, various scholarship options, and how students can prepare for studying and living in Taiwan. His presentation attracted a large audience and sparked engaging discussions, especially among students planning to continue their education abroad.

Throughout the event, our team provided free educational consultations, introducing various pathways for higher education in Taiwan, including bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs offered in both English and Mandarin. We also provided information on the MOE Taiwan Scholarship, MOE Huayu Enrichment Scholarship, and other programs available to Indonesian students.
