Taiwan Education Center Indonesia (TEC) Yogyakarta continued spreading information regarding Taiwan’s education and scholarships by holding an Online Seminar with Universitas Serambi Mekkah, Aceh on Wednesday (21/9/2022) via Google Meet. The agenda was opened by an opening speech given by the Vice Rector III, Dr. Hambali, S.Fil. I., M.Pd. and the head of the Office of International Affairs, Ms. Sabrina, M.Appling., M.Tran.

In this occasion, Bima Aoron as the manager of TEC Yogyakarta, introduced what is TEC and shared important information regarding study in Taiwan including the scholarships which are facilitated by the Taiwan government to the international students all over the world. 

The second speaker of the agenda was Muslem Daud., Ph.D who was an alumnus of National Taichung University of Education Taiwan. He shared about his experience in Taiwan as a student and he also gave some tips to the students who are interested in continuing their study in Taiwan. 

Moreover, the experience-sharing was continued by Muhammad Zulfajri., Ph.D who was an alumnus of National Sun Yat-sen University and Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan. He explained about doing research while he took his Master and Doctoral degree in Taiwan. He motivated the participants to explore their education and continue their study abroad, especially in Taiwan.

This agenda went well and was full of enthusiasm by the participants. Even though the agenda was held online, the discussion about the background of Taiwan, education system, requirements of scholarship and many others can be delivered effectively by the speakers. In addition, TEC Yogyakarta also promoted the upcoming agendas, such as Online Mandarin Class 2022 and the Taiwan Higher Education Fair 2022. Hopefully, this agenda could enlighten the participants, especially those who have interest for studying in Taiwan.
