On Monday, September 9, 2024, the Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia – Yogyakarta team visited Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta to share information about studying in Taiwan. Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta (UNU Yogyakarta), located in Yogyakarta, features one main campus and has five faculties with eleven study programs.

During the visit, the TEC team was welcomed by the deans and lecturers ini UNU Yogyakarta, along with the students.

The visit included a seminar titled “Study Abroad Seminar: Planning Your Academic Journey in Taiwan,” attended by students and faculty members. The seminar covered details about Taiwanese government and university scholarships, as well as the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP), which offers research and internship opportunities in Taiwan.

Bima, the TEC Yogyakarta manager, provided a detailed explanation of these programs. The audience was highly engaged, asking questions about scholarships and TEEP, including application requirements and procedures. The seminar aimed to provide valuable insights into studying in Taiwan and securing scholarships or internships.
