On Thursday (12/20), the team of Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia – Yogyakarta landed at Universitas Alma Ata Yogyakarta (UAA) one more time to provide an in-depth education seminar to the participants consisted of students of UAA who will be graduating soon, lecturers and faculty members regarding Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MoE) programs such as MoE Taiwan Scholarships 2024, Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES), and the internship program or Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP).

During this agenda, the topics delivered by TEC were regarding Study in Taiwan, scholarships, internship and research collaboration with lecturers from Taiwan universities. Since there were many participants who were really fond of getting a scholarship in Taiwan, they were very attentive and focused during the presentation session.

As Bima, the manager of TEC Yogyakarta explained in detail about the MOE programs, the students and lecturers were very attentive to gain more info regarding study in Taiwan. A few questions were delivered by the participants. Most of them asked about scholarship information and TEEP, such as the requirements, the steps of application and others and they also asked regarding the dos and don’ts and cultural differences while living in Taiwan.

Moreover, Bima mentioned that the programs’ benefits offered are not merely about getting a degree but also getting a wider experience by meeting the international community and connections. Therefore, by getting a scholarship to Taiwan, the students will have more opportunities in the job-seeking world. In the Q&A session, many of the participants delivered a question related to the topic. This event hopefully could be a starting point to motivate the participants to study abroad and maximise their career opportunities.
