On Wednesday (8/14), the Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia – Yogyakarta team returned to Universitas Alma Ata Yogyakarta (UAA) to conduct another detailed education seminar as part of an event titled Career Development Seminar – Universitas Alma Ata “Navigating Your Career Path: Strategies and Success”. This session was aimed at UAA students nearing graduation, as well as lecturers and faculty members, and focused on Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MoE) programs, including the MoE Taiwan Scholarships 2025, the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES), and the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP).
The seminar covered topics such as studying in Taiwan, scholarship opportunities, internships, and research collaborations with Taiwanese universities. The participants, particularly those interested in securing scholarships in Taiwan, listened attentively and were highly engaged during the presentation.
Bima, the manager of TEC Yogyakarta, provided detailed explanations about the MoE programs. The students and lecturers were keen to learn more about studying in Taiwan and posed several questions. Most inquiries were about scholarship details and the TEEP program, including application requirements and processes, as well as cultural differences and what to expect while living in Taiwan.
Bima also highlighted that the benefits of these programs extend beyond obtaining a degree, offering broader experiences through international community engagement and networking opportunities. He emphasized that securing a scholarship to Taiwan could significantly enhance students’ career prospects. During the Q&A session, participants asked many questions related to these topics. This event aimed to inspire participants to study abroad and maximize their career opportunities.
