To share the latest information on scholarships and internships from the Ministry of Education (MOE) Taiwan and Taiwan universities, Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia, Yogyakarta regional office, came to Stikes Notokusumo and held a seminar in front of the students and lecturers on Monday (12/11). Not only providing a seminar but the TEC team also helps the participants to find the best plan for their education journey.  This visit was conducted by TEC Yogyakarta on Friday (12/1). Before delivering the seminar, Ms. Novi Widyastuti, M.Kep. as the Vice Director I of Stikes Notokusumo welcomed all the participants and delivered an opening remark.

On this occasion, TEC Yogyakarta was introducing its activities as well as its purposes to the participants. TEC Yogyakarta provided a seminar entitled “Study in Taiwan: Planning Your Academic Journey in Taiwan” to share information of study in Taiwan in detail as well as to promote the developed education system in Taiwan. As the participants were very enthusiastic in gaining the information, Bima, the manager of TEC Yogyakarta, encouraged the students to be more confident in applying for the scholarship and to prepare themselves for the upcoming MOE Taiwan Scholarship in 2024.

During the presentation session, Bima explained a lot of information regarding medicine and public health programs since Stikes Notokusumo is a health education institution.   Furthermore, the other programs from Taiwan’s MOE explained were the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) and Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP). Many participants were very excited to obtain the information and some of them actively participated during the Q&A session.

Not only questioning about the scholarship, some students were also interested to know more about learning Mandarin directly in Taiwan. Last but not least, the team of TEC Yogyakarta took some pictures with the participants and had an exchange of token appreciation with Stikes Notokusumo.
