To share the latest information on scholarships and internships from the Ministry of Education (MOE) Taiwan and Taiwan universities, Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia, Yogyakarta regional office, came to ASM Marsudirini Santa Maria Yogyakarta (ASMI) and held a seminar in front of the students and lecturers on Monday (12/18). Not only providing a seminar but the TEC team also helps the participants to find the best plan for their education journey as well as their career plan in Taiwan. 

On this occasion, TEC Yogyakarta was introducing its activities as well as its purposes to the participants. TEC Yogyakarta provided a seminar entitled “Study in Taiwan: Planning Your Academic Journey in Taiwan” to share information of study in Taiwan in detail as well as to promote the developed education system in Taiwan. Furthermore, the other programs from Taiwan’s MOE explained were the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) and Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP). Many participants were very excited to obtain the information and some of them actively participated during the Q&A session.

Not only questioning about the scholarship, some students were also interested to know more about learning Mandarin directly in Taiwan. Finally, the team of TEC Yogyakarta took some pictures with the participants and had an exchange of token appreciation with ASMI. As the participants were very enthusiastic in gaining the information, Bima, the manager of TEC Yogyakarta, encouraged the students to be more confident in applying for the scholarship and to prepare themselves for the upcoming MOE Taiwan Scholarship, HES Scholarship and TEEP in 2024.
