On Wednesday (1/31), Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia – Yogyakarta hosted an engaging seminar that took place in SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta, located in Yogyakarta City in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The seminar had the goal of promoting and informing students and teachers about the diverse Taiwan higher education programs, internship opportunities, and scholarship offerings available in Taiwan. 

After the opening remarks delivered by Ms. Reni Fitriani, S.Pd., M.M, TEC Yogyakarta started the introduction of its activities and purposes to the participants, including both students and teachers. Bima presented an overview of studying and life in Taiwan, highlighting scholarships and internship programs as the main topics. Additionally, Bima explained that obtaining a scholarship to Taiwan would provide students with more opportunities in the job-seeking world later. Following his presentation, Daffa, a recent high school graduate from Yogyakarta, also joined by sharing his experience of gaining admission to one of Taiwan’s top universities, National Tsing Hua University. The participants were eager to secure scholarships for further studies in Taiwan, expressed high enthusiasm and focus during the presentation session.

In the Q&A session, students asked several questions related to the topic. Most of them asked about how the scholarship works, its requirements, the detailed steps of the application process, and more about living in Taiwan. This seminar is expected to inspire and motivate participants to pursue studies abroad and explore career opportunities.
