Taiwan Education Center (TEC) UMY as one of non-profit organizations which works in the field of education keeps on providing information related to Taiwan and its education. This month, TEC UMY has successfully arranged an online seminar “Study in Taiwan & Obtain Scholarship” with Universitas Ngudi Waluyo on Thursday (14/4/2022) via Google Meet. The opening remarks of this agenda was delivered by Kustiyono, S.Kom., S.E., M.Kom.AK. as the Vice Rector of Cooperation and Alumni.

The participants of this Online Seminar consisted of students and lecturers in Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. During the presentation, the speaker of the agenda, M. Bima Aoron Hafiz, explained in details about education system in Taiwan including how to apply for universities there or obtain a scholarship provided by the government or university. The scholarships introduced to the participants are Ministry of Education (MoE) Taiwan Scholarship, Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) and also scholarships offered by university. The participants of this online seminar showed their excitement by delivering questions to the speaker. Hopefully, the information given will be useful for the students of Universitas Ngudi Waluyo and triggers those who are interested in studying abroad especially in Taiwan.
