Taiwan Education Center (TEC) UMY has not stopped in providing information related to study in Taiwan and how to get a scholarship there. On Tuesday (19/04/2022), TEC UMY collaborated with Universitas Jember to hold an online seminar “Study in Taiwan & Obtain Scholarship” via Zoom. The opening remarks of this agenda was delivered by Prof. Dr. Bambang Kuswandi M.Sc., Ph.D as the Vice Rector of Planning, Information System and Public Relation.

The participants of this Online Seminar consisted of students, lecturers and deans in Universitas Jember. They showed their excitement towards this agenda by asking a lot of questions to the speaker, M. Bima Aoron Hafiz. Bima comprehensively explained about study in Taiwan including how to apply for universities there or obtain a scholarship provided by the government or university. The scholarships introduced to the participants are Ministry of Education (MoE) Taiwan Scholarship, Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) and also scholarships offered by university. Overall, the Seminar was successfully held by TEC UMY and hopefully every information given could motivate the students of Universitas Jember and eases those who want to apply for scholarship in Taiwan.
