On Wednesday (7/26), Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, Taipei Economic and Trade Office (TETO) Indonesia together with Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia held The Online Orientation Class 2023 for Ministry of Education (MOE) Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) Awardees. This agenda was held virtually and attended by TETO Indonesia, TEC Indonesia, the 2022 MOE Taiwan Scholarship and HES Awardees as well as all the 2023 MOE Taiwan Scholarship and HES Awardees.

This event was held to gather the 2023 MOE Taiwan Scholarship and HES Awardees and giving them information regarding the regulations before their departure to Taiwan, entering Taiwan, while studying in Taiwan, and many others. Before the presentation began, Ms. Grace Ou, as the Director of the Education Division TETO Indonesia, delivered her opening remark and congratulated all the awardees for their accomplishment.

The team of TEC Indonesia, both from the Jakarta and Yogyakarta regional office, provided presentations about Taiwan regulations and study in Taiwan. The presentation of TEC then followed by the presentation of 2022 MOE Taiwan Scholarship and HES Awardees, Ms. Bernadeta Ratri Dewi and Ms. Siti Fatimah, who delivered comprehensively about their experiences and study tips as a student in Taiwan and how to survive in Taiwan. After the presentation session, TEC Indonesia and the speakers started answering the questions from the awardees during the question-and-answer session.

This agenda was held to support the awardees as students in various universities in Taiwan. TETO Indonesia and TEC Indonesia hoped that this agenda could give them information and help them in preparing themselves for their next journey in Taiwan.
