TEC UMY firs agenda in early December is visiting to Surya Global. Surya Global is Islam boarding school that located in Sleman, Yogyakarta. In this agenda we promoted about Taiwan and also we provided the information about the scholarship which is provided by Taiwan’s government. Furthermore, TEC UMY also presented about Taiwan’s education system, environment and life in Taiwan. Roughly 205 participants that consist of students and teacher attended this agenda. A lot of students interested to study in Taiwan. They gave us some question about how to get the scholarship and how to prepare all the things. Some students also were carious about Muslim’s life in Taiwan. As Nugroho Mukti said that “Taiwan are very friendly for Muslim, in Taiwan we can easily find Halal food and we can also find mosques everywhere in Taiwan”.

The feedback from participants is good, the students are very enthusiastic about the education system in Taiwan and how to survive as a Muslim student there.
