On Monday, February 3rd, 2025, the Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Yogyakarta organized a seminar at Madrasah Muallimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta to provide students with essential information about studying in Taiwan. The event, which ran from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, was warmly received by the school’s Director, Ust. Aly Aulia.

In his opening remarks, Ust. Aly Aulia expressed his excitement about the partnership and the chance for students to explore educational opportunities in Taiwan. He underscored the significance of gaining international exposure and urged students to consider studying abroad for their higher education.

The seminar, titled “Study in Taiwan: Planning Your Academic Journey,” offered a comprehensive overview of the educational landscape in Taiwan, focusing on the various scholarship options available. A major highlight was the announcement of the Taiwan Ministry of Education (MoE) Taiwan Scholarship for 2025, which is now open and available for Indonesian students to apply until March 31, 2025. 

Not only scholarships, TEC also discussed the possibility for the students to join the latest program such as the Mandarin Summer Camp 2025 at Da Yeh University, Taiwan, that allows the student to study Mandarin and explore the cultures of Taiwan for 2 weeks. Bima, the manager of TEC Yogyakarta, emphasized how the scholarships and the Mandarin Summer Camp program could be a valuable resource for students interested in pursuing either undergraduate studies in Taiwan and gaining more international exposure for their future reference.
