On Monday, April 28th, 2025, the Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Yogyakarta held a seminar at Madrasah Muallimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta to inform students about studying in Taiwan. The event, which ran from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, was welcomed by the school’s Vice Director, Ms. Elfin, who encouraged students to explore international study opportunities.
The seminar, titled “Study in Taiwan: Exploring Academic Opportunities,” provided an overview of Taiwan’s education system and the scholarships available for Indonesian students. TEC also introduced two exciting programs: the Mandarin Summer Camp 2025 at Da Yeh University in Taiwan, where students can study Mandarin and experience Taiwanese culture, and the upcoming Online Exchange Program and 2025 Ironman Creativity Contest in Taiwan, both taking place in the next three months.
Bima, TEC Yogyakarta’s manager, emphasized how these programs and scholarships could help students gain valuable international exposure and enhance their academic and career prospects.
The seminar was a significant step toward fostering a deeper connection between the students of Madrasah Muallimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and Taiwan’s educational offerings, providing them with valuable insights into future academic and professional opportunities.
