On February 26, the Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia’s Yogyakarta Regional Office paid a visit to Sekolah Tinggi Multi Media (STMM) in Yogyakarta, strengthening academic ties and providing valuable information about higher education opportunities in Taiwan.
The TEC team was warmly greeted by Dr. R.M. Agung Harimurti, M.Kom., the Director of STMM, along with the faculty, students, and staff. During the visit, a seminar entitled “2025 Study in Taiwan: Scholarship and Internship” was held, attracting considerable interest from the academic community.
The seminar highlighted a range of educational opportunities available in Taiwan, such as government and university-funded scholarships, the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP), and the Mandarin Summer Camp 2025. These programs provide international students with invaluable research and internship experiences, contributing to both their academic and professional growth.
Bima Aoron, the TEC Yogyakarta manager, delivered an insightful presentation on the various scholarship options, the application procedures, and the benefits of studying in Taiwan. His engaging delivery prompted lively discussions, with students asking thoughtful questions about eligibility, the application process, and what it’s like to live as an international student in Taiwan.
