On Wednesday (1/31), Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia – Yogyakarta held another offline seminar in front of the students and teachers of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta entitled “Study in Taiwan and Obtain Scholarship”.

To begin with, this seminar was given to provide information regarding study in Taiwan and all the scholarships offered by the Taiwan’s Ministry of Education and the universities in Taiwan. The participating students on this occasion varied from 10th until 12th grade.

Furthermore, in this seminar, TEC Yogyakarta was welcomed by the Principal Mr. Drs., H. Slamet Purwo and Vice Principal, Ms. Fatma Taufiyanti, S.Si., M.Psi. Since mostly the information which was delivered by TEC was focusing on the scholarships by MoE which is going to be available from February 1st, 2024, the students were very attentive to the speakers and slides shown in front of them. This scholarship program allows the students to not only gain a degree but also study experience as well as cultural experience in Taiwan. 

Moreover, the students especially from the 11th and 12th grade were interested to know about how to apply for the scholarships in Taiwan. Hopefully, the students who are interested in studying abroad, especially in Taiwan, can prepare well for their next journey endeavour.
